SVI at the 5th Italy Corporate Governance Conference (ICGC)

Date/Time
09/12/2019 - 10/12/2019
2:00 - 7:00

SVI participated at the 5th edition of the Italy Corporate Governance Conference (ICGC), created and organised by and Assonime in cooperation with the OECD, and with the support of Borsa Italiana.

SVI Senior Partner, Daniela Carosio, discussed and exchanged ideas with a panel of national and international experts from the financial sector about current corporate governance challenges.

The 2019 ICGC revolved around three main themes: the creation of a systemic culture of corporate sustainability; the evolution of the board structure in the Italian context; and the evolution of institutional investors’ role to promote dialogue and prompt activism.

As corporate governance (CG) is a key element orienting investors decisions, a forum that addresses CG’s tasks and new challenges is fundamental to inform investors’ decision-making in a fast-growing global market.

As always, SVI strived to create a corporate governance culture increasingly aware of ESG factors to mitigate risks and unlock opportunities.
